Octura 1.6 and 1.8

Someone gave me a couple of Octura 1.6 and 1.8 props. I have not seen much about using these props. However, I believe they are a bit big for my applications - SV27, Challenger 31 (Castle 1520), Mini X w/ UL-1 power and a MM w/ a 1518. I did sharpen and balance a 1.6 and ran it on a 12XL, 4S - it ran very poorly. What would be a good application for these props?

Are they 16xx and 18xx props? If so, they're higher lift, better for hydros that need some lift to get their tails up.

The 1.6 and 1.8 props both have a 1.8 pitch ratio, and they are very high lift. Not at all suitable for monos and cats without mods, they can work well on hydros.

WParsons - the props are just labelled 1.6 and 1.8.

Fluid - thanks for the information. I was kind of thinking that they were not suitable for what I'm running.
