Default Pics of the Motley Crew

With Special Thanks to Mike Z (Grim Racer).

He was kind enough to hand over the keys of his test boat to me on Saturday in Toledo. Complete with new electronics.

Thanks Mike. She will be treated well, but run hard.

They had the silver boat there as well on display and I have to say the paint job and finish are beautiful...the hull shines like nothing else on the market. The pics on the web really don't do it justice. Don't ask for pictures of the silver one as 1 hour into the trek to Toledo, I realized I forgot my camera (hey I was up at 4:00 AM getting ready for the 4 hour drive).

The boat Mike gave me does have some differences from the production version....old water jacket, no seperate water pick up and of course the colour.

There is a ton of room in the tub as you can see. Some of pics show that there is still about 3/4" between the top of the tub and the top of some 5800Mah Zippys.

The hull and electronics weighs in a 4.07 pounds.

Looking forward to running it this weekend.

    Doby,

It was good to see you again. I hope you have as much fun with this boat as I did last summer. I am really looking forward to some prop testing on this hull this spring. Please let me know how your testing goes.

    Later,
    Mike

Same hull, just a testing rig with a different paint scheme.

How hard or easy was it to get rid of the original stickers?
Or did you just got yellow with nothing on it?

    Hey gang

The boat Doby has never had any graphics on it.. It was a boat that I used during the development of the product and its the ONLY yellow one ever made.
