Default whats a good fast balancing charger??

I have a triton jr which is ok with a balancing adadpter but I need something that will charge a lot faster. I know hyperion makes a couple good ones but I don't really want to spend $150 trying to stay around the $100 mark maybe a little more. I was thinking about the passport ultra but I'm open to suggestions thanks

I really want the 720 but $150 is a little much. I'm looking for something that will atleast charge 10amps my triton jr will do 5amps which is one less than the 606 but its a possibillity... how long does it take you to charge a 5000mah pack?

At that price you are stuck with a 50Watt charger and really won't increase charge speed over what you have I don't think unless you go with one of the many off brand China chargers from Hobby People

well the passport is 100w 10a charger for $120 which is what I'm leaning toward unless I can find something better in that price range? That's about my max that I wanna spend unless I break down and spring for the $150 hyperion 720 90w 20amp charger

Why not look at the Icharger 106b for $99 and a balance board for $9.99 from progressiverc, it's a 10amp 250 watt 6s balance charger.

Have you used one? I have looked into them but don't hear a lot about them so I'm a little skeptical. That's why I posted this thread to find out what's good and what people have and have used to get some good input and go from there

The 610 was my second choice I was looking at. Have you used either one?

How many batts are you charging at once? At 10 amps charging 1 5000mah 3s will probably take at least 30 mins to charge. If you have more to charge at once you may want to save a little more and get a more powerful charger. What amperage power supply do you have?

I'm in exactly the same boat right now (pun intended)!! I'm really trying to figure out what charger i should go with so i can finally get into the Lipo game and not just NIMH's anymore! Been doin alot of reading, i'm looking at the iMax B6 Duo 400watt charger right now, but then i'd have to get a 30 amp power suply to go with it so i'm looking at around $180 total give or take. More than i want to spend but at least it will do 2 batts at the same time at up to 10 amps. I'm still looking around so i'll be watching this thread and see what else get's suggested, i'd really like one that came with a power supply or has it built in.

Hi from what you are saying then you should get one of these you can charge 2 lipos if you buy a cheap multiple lipo charging board so if you have 2 2S lipos you should get 5 amps for each pack.
The Imax i think is a full 10 amp the thunder power is 8 amps and only 10 with a power supply

here are some good ones good amps for a good price.

How do I get the 10% discount? Cause it would only be $144 shipped for that price shipped I could live with that

I ended up getting a hyperion i720 from rclipo for $144 shipped. The best charger for the money upto 20amps 90watts built in power supply 150watt max upto 7s lipos a buddy of mine had one but I didn't want to spend $160 and all the rest that were around 10amps were around $120 so for $25 more it was worth the extra cash very happy and now I have a triton jr as a back up so I'm all set now
