Anyone using these castle bec eliminators? Are they just a plug and play set up or is there programming required, thinking of going this route over a battery pack

I run one on my MG. Just soldered to the esc power wires and disconnect the esc's bec (red wire). I don't perfer it over a rx pack, but I do perfer it over the esc's bec. I am a rx pack kinda guy these days. I only run that cc bec on 4s. I haven't even tried 5s or 6s on it, to be honest I don't think I ever will.

i THOUGHT YOU DIDNT RUN ONE, LOL...THATS ONE THING THAT I WAS WONDERING IF THERE CAPABLE OF HIGHER POWER, I'LL PROLLY JUST BUY ANOTHER PACK FOR MINE TO, THANKS DALE
Yeah, thats my thoughts also, theres really not alot running verses the rc trucks and they run 3 days easy or more on battery charges, i always top mine off if its been a few runs. Im buying some pretty big batterys that pack some juice and can charge them with my traxxas charger, that was the whole idea behind t and so far been working very well.....except for the one that shorted
On my fut fm o 4.8-9.6 I use a 800 mAh lipo for 2.4 I use a turnigy bec works great but I use an external lipO shield after losing a couple packs
I use a 800mah 2s lipo with my Castle bec and it will run for a long time before it needs charging, probably 5 or more sets of battery packs.I am running 1 Traxxas 2075 waterproof servo & radio.
