Esp stock 25a, But more like 20a it the weak link in boat.

okay thanks. Ive got a 45amp airplane esc i might be able to replace it with. without having to buy another one if this one goes out

You def want to get rid of that esc. With the extra pvc rig and downed boat your pushing around your adding to the stress on the esc. I went through 2 stock esc's just running normally with cool down periods in between so I know it wouldn't be long before the esc would fry using it as a rescue boat.
Yeah I figure it wont be long from what all I read.

The guys are right. We had a odd issue with the ESCs in the first production of the boat...
BTY.. that ESC is 30amps. It takes that quite well.

Running 2s 30c 5050mah and 8.4 nimh 3000mah power,
With stock esc & and motor what is good prop up grade ?
And if i go to s600 motor with a 50a esc, what would be a good prop up grade ?

I just bought one and have maybe an hour total running time and the ESC is out already. I know absolutely nothing about the RC world this is my first purchase just bought to play with grandson when he is visiting. It looks like there has been a problem is the a upgrade for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
