good times
I just wish I would have got traction, then I would have clobbered him instead of just staying next to him.

The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.
lol that would have really hurt his ego!
Avanti, what have you done to that thing? From what I read, the Lightning is about a low 14 second truck in the 1/4. About as fast as a Stang GT from 99-04....just curious...I could be wrong.
At any rate thats a nice truck. I dig it.

K&N drop in filter
and a set of JLP 54" traction bars
icing the intake has put me at a 12.4 @ 108 in the quarter on street tires.
I have had 4 Lightnings I have a lot of seat time.

That must have been a heck of a 60 foot time to run that et, with that low of a mph !
Slicks or drag radials ?
At any rate the lightning is probably a more perfomance oriented vehicle than the mustang. Kind of funny.
The only stock mustang I have any love for at all is the '03,'04 cobra.
The gt500 has the right motor, but is a heavy pig of a car.

That's nuts for a plain old street tire !
She really digs !
Be a great stoplight to stoplight machine, not that I'd condone such a thing, lol
street racing?? who would do such a thing?
The lightnings actually hook really good at the track as long as there is decent prep, but on the street, its rare that you will find enough traction to handle the torque, unless you have a really good set of tires of course.
