Default Project "Let's Upgrade Everything" ......

Got my new Leopard 1300KV Motor & Sea King 120A ESC installed tonight. Can't wait to run it on Saturday. I will post some GoPro Vids and see if we have a solution to the problem.
    also....
    Upgraded all the water lines
    Installed 60mm Aluminum Cooling Jacket
    Opened Up the Water Pickup
New Grim Racer Brass Prop 42 X 55
Drilled out the fitting on top of the rudder
Increased the Water Exit Fitting on the side of the boat.

Next upgrade will be a Dual Pickup Rudder just like Mr Priami Installed....Looks Killer J
Do you have a link for it please?

    Anyways, here are some pics....

What will be interesting to see is once motor & esc are changed how much temps drop blowing out the water what Traxxas claim that its not the motor or esc that are the problem with all their lame excusses they have come up with. Because if sar a non lubed shaft is causing the heat problems then it should still cause heat problems with a different motor & esc, I very much dought we are going to see that once motor & esc are replaced & get rid of the rubbish fitted in this boat. This is making the Spartan an already expensive boat into a very expensive boat. By the time you buy the boat + lipo + replacment motor & esc what are you looking at some where around $600-$650 or what. Thanks Martin.

I agree on the expense.Im all about trying out a new boat, but I cant bring myself to run an ABS hull-especially on 6s.Once you get up to the speeds that 6s can provide, the wrecks will destroy the hull.Im sure ABS has to be almost impossible or a PITA to fix.The only ABS boat I have is an Tear Into jet boat-and its my rescue rig capable of about 10-12 mph.I have about $80 in it.

Now let's use the plastic hull as a mold, get your gelcoat, fiberglass matt and resin out. And make a new hull lol.

Don't forget to seal the ESC, just in case. :)
