    Cool the right prop..

    can anyone help. im trying to work out what size prop will work with the leopard 4082 Motor /1500kv.. would the octura x442 be a good starting point or not? the boat is a36'' deep vee.

    What voltage are you going to run?If its 6s,Id start with an X445.You could do the 442,but,I think youll be safe the 45mm.I ran the same motor on 6s in a 33"mono and used an X445.Ran great with low temps.

    That motor is a torque monster. Start with the 45mm. A ul-1 motor can spin a 45mm prop. The 442 is a waste of time. JMO!

    M445 is WICKED!!! would work great.... I run a x447 on a Leopard 4074 1774kv & 2200kv, the 1774kv motor has yet to break 100F after a 4m run and the 2200kv runs about 100F-105F Leopards
