Cool boat but why do they call it "RTR" It doesn't seem to come with a motor or ESC or servo?

RTR can mean read as no "building" is needed. Just wording, I consider "RTR" as one of the two is acceptable as I have seen both:

    1. ESC/Motor/Servo installed all hardware installed
    2. ESC/Motor/Servo required, but all hardware installed for you

RTR just depends on how/what you may need or want. I prefer RTR #2 as costs less and give you more flexibility.

RTR generally means "Ready to Run". If there is no motor, esc, or servo, it definitely is NOT Ready to Run. If there is no radio, it also is not RTR. If it has the motor, servo, esc, it is ARTR or ALMOST ready to run. That's my point.

I have never seen anyone call your No. 2 a RTR.

Its not a big deal really. It's Ready to Run, drop in your equipment and you are ready to go, no building needed. I've seen RTR as a Kit and you have to build it and it was called RTR. It's all just a play on words. What RTR means to you will mean something different to someone else. I'm fine with how they worded it as they are not going to be stong on words (German site) but they should call it ARTR I agree, as on the other model Hydroplane Miss Madison ''RTR'' it's labled as RTR but in the description it's clarified as Almost RTR.

Maybe that's what the Germans call it but we are used to RTR to mean something like an Aquacraft of Proboat that comes with everything but a battery.

I'm going to get the smaller items at first. A few of the "rtr" hulls, and couplers and things like that. Plus I hope to be ordering on a monthly basis, so I can take orders if people have time

I have never seen anyone call your No. 2 a RTR.

Here is example where the section is called RTR and Combo: But none of the boats are RTR as there is no ESC/Motor/Servo, not that it's right, but I have seen this as you see.

I really like the Sideon Micro Eco Expert ''RTR'' + Decals 437mm - 17,2'' (1689/FD)

    Very nice looking ECO!

The cost of 98 Euro is 134.36 in US. That is awesome for RTR ECO!
