Seaking 60 UL-1 motor

I'm helping to get my brother-in-law into FE boats after watching us run the last couple years. He picked up a Vac-U-Pickle and is going to run it on a UL-1 motor. Looking at a used Seaking 60 esc since I have a program box for it and he's on a very tight budget. Question is will the Seaking 60 work in this boat with the UL-1 motor. He's not into racing just wants to have some fun with us. Thanks,

It'll be close..............just dont overdo it on the prop.

It is very easy to pull 80+ amps with the UL-1 motor, so I would not recommend it. Sure, you can say you'll be easy on prop choice, but you know how it is: "let's see how it runs with this slightly bigger prop, just for one lap..."

i wouldnt either t120 minimum or buy two escs

I wonder what the difference is between the stock 60amp esc and the SeaKing?Besides the obvious brand difference,its still a 60amp esc.

i havent had a ul1 esc but the t120 seems small along side a swordfish 120 so i would think the same is true with the 60s

I agree with Fluid fast is never fast enough. But as LarrysDrifter stated isn't the stock esc in the UL-1 a 60 amp?

I've had great luck with all turnigy/seaking esc's with the exception of the 60A. I've had 3-that failed. 1 in the sv-27, and 2 in the ekos. I'd spend a few more bucks for the t-120.

Yeah, the T120 is an awesome product for $49...........i have a bunch, I run a Neu 1515 with one, a Feigao 540 XL with one, a Leopard 4074 with one.............etc.

and since it's $7 cheaper than the 60a.....................well, you know
