I'm excited! So you are running 12s1p on each scorpion? and with large props too.... this should go like stink! definately get us some video.... even Randy "Rearwheelin" Duke would give you a nod' of the cap on this one... lol....Very Nice Setup... I am couning up to see "Ballpark" what this setup would run.... eeeshhhh

    8 X 6s G3 45c hyperions= $ 2160
    4 X Castle esc's= $1000
    4 X Scorpion 4035's= $756
    4 X Andy Brown props= $450

Ouch... this isn't a cheap build... Thats well over $4000 before you even start looking at Hull/Hardware/Flexes/Cooling components, etc., etc....

    Nice Setup....

Chances are they'd want to incorporate something into the rules requiring a de-tune on electrics with an "unfair advantage, in the spirit of sportsmanship".
Heck, my 50" twin can give a glow or gas a good run for it's money.

LOL so you were the one who ordered 4 of them. I was wondering what they were going in (should you use them that is )...glad to see they're being put to good use. Fellow speed freak myself. Can't wait to see the end result!

Be very carfull when punching the throttle , even at speeds around 60mph mine will nose up and catch air ! It is a steady increase that will keep you on the water. I have blown mine over at over 70 and twice at 50 mph all because of hitting the throttle to hard. I dont think you will need water jackets but the wieght will be benificial. I am guessing your speeds to be in the 70's with the 800 kv motors. You have soo much power though. Everything should run pleanty cool ! P.S. I would thrust with your struts. I use Octura thrust washers and leave a gap about the thickness of a thumb nail. Thrusting with my motors caused alot of lift on the back end and made mine handle wierd. My opinion when building a boat that thrusts with motors has to be planed so that the motors angle in the hull is as the direction of thrust..... Set up looks nice and clean ,Good job !

Randy I didn't know they made water jackets for outrunners? :) I think you were thinking water cooled motor mounts.... But you are right about the super sick setup and I bet those quads can put out some serious bow lifting thrust... Ha ha... Had to pick on ya about the water jacket thing...
