Glad ya'll had a good time. As far as rescue boats go, for the SV's we need one of those commercial net boats to surrond all of them and haul 'em in. Sorry, couldnt resist..just alittle SV humor.

I have a Dumas Thompson Trawler. I'll install a large net on the outriggers.

Cool Sept. SAWs in Valdosta Ga.

    Hey Fellas,
Next weekend is the SAWs at Blue Lake in Valdosta. Why don't you guys throw in on some travel money, pile in a suv, and come check it out?? Bring a record setter if you have one in your fleet.

    You won't be dissapointed!

Mike Martin will be there, but don't let that stop you.

I would love to go to that SAWs event, but my funds are severely limited right now. I also don't have a record setting boat right now. When is the next SAW going to be in Valdosta, maybe we can prepare for that event. I have some boats in the works, but they are on hold for a while.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

In Land O lakes west of 41- Oct would be good, it will give me some time to get a good hold of this SV and make the many mods required for first run...

Funny, I bought this silly rescue boat on ebay and its actually pretty cool.

I have that tug also. Had to trash the electronics...put in a Proboat esc, hitec servo for the kort nozzle/rudder, and receiver. The radio was junk from the start. Runs good and turns on a dime...still a good value for the money. Gets a lot of looks and laughs from the onlookers LOL

    Well, im hooked.

For the first time after some preperation the SV hit the small lake in my development here. Untrimmed, stock prop gps @ 35.4 on two flightpower EVO 30's. two minutes of on and off and i find now water flowing cooling the motor speed contol- so i pulled it out, temp at 140 with no water. I'm glad i stopped.

Now to find a very inexpensive setup for my brother in law.
    See you Sunday.

There is a VERY large established club in Port St. Lucie called the Wave Blasters. Google Wave Blasters of Florida. You will find them.

    All the best,

Not sure if my boat is going to be ready or not, but I should be there with something this month, even if it's a sailboat.
