Thanks but they have plastic gears in the tranny, the rustler has metal. Im planning on using a large power plant. Thanks for looking though.

It is a stock VXL Rustler. Antenna is missing. I added lead to help hold front end down. This thing pops wheelies on demand. I do not know what it is worth? $180.00 shipped?

What powerplant are you looking to put in it Brad? The stock motor + ESC will break parts on 3s lipo, there isn't really an advantage to putting something bigger in there. If you want more power you should probably look more in the direction of an e revo.
The vxl rustlers are fast in stock form. I would say $180 is a fair price as well.

Well Keith my intention is paddle tires, ski's in the front to blast threw some powder. If the stock setup performs well ill just keep it stock. Jabbo's Rustler though has tons of aftermarket parts.....

I have never seen a Rustler with paddle tires in the snow. Will it work in deep snow? My guess is no?

They work great in the sand I'm sure they would work in the snow (many not powder ) and run it with the bandit body (it fits tight to the chase and keeps most everything out)

If its more than a few inches it just digs and sits on the chassis
my Revo is crazy with about 2" of snow with paddles all the way around!
