    Default hobbywing 80a hv esc how do you program it?

    ok noob questions, esc has two receiver wire one long one short, which do you use to program the esc? i have the hobby wing boat program card using an external 4aa battery pack to power the esc and program card i can't get the esc to program?

    I have one...............the long wire goes to the reciever. I just programmed mine with my Radio based on the beeps. It took a bit to figure out since it works just a bit different than the 120a.

    Jim, it actually doesnt tell you squat in the instructions.

    connect the long wire to the program card first then connect power to the program card.
    It might take a few seconds until the card lights up.

    If you use the Programming card, make sure you use the marine faceplate. Otherwise the options won't match.

    i read the half English instruction better and saw the note 4 in them, thank you for the replies guys.
