Default motor mount options neu-castle 1518

hey folks... if i was going to snap up one of these motor while they are goin cheap, what are my motor mount options ??? do i need a custom one - ie peter z s beauties... or will a cheaper one do the trick ??

i have one of these mounts ready to drop into a df29...

i planned on using it with a 9xl - still may... but i really don t want to limit myself... from my understanding, leopard motors won t work in this mount so i imagine there are a number of other motors that won t fit also... i know my feigao 9xl will definately do the job.. am i m limiting myself to 540 motors with this mount ??

    cheers for any input...

They do make that same mount for the leopard. Not sure if it will work on the castle though.....http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80610

The rear ring wont fit with the xl mount. The rear ring on the leopard mount will only fit if you machine off a couple of fins where the ring will sit.

Just use the standard style ETTI mount here at OSE.

It will be way more than enough motor for that boat. It pushed my Rico 31" mono near 60 mph on 5s2p.
