    Default 3/16 flex cable stock stuffing tube??

    I picked up a new blackjack hull and hatch and want to set up a budget build. I have a proboat thundercat strut/3/16 flex cable and octura coupler I want to use. Can I run the 3/16 cable into the stock stuffing tube without the liner and still be water tight. If I'm not mistaken, the stock stuffing tube is 1/4 inch and uses a teflon tube and .150 cable.

    Answered my own question. Got the hull yesterday, pulled out the stock teflon and the 3/16 flex shaft fits nicely into the stock stuffing tube w/o teflon.
