Installed water jacket and plumbed outlet.
Outlet installed and plumbed.
Making slow and steady progress in between fishing charters. Lots to planning before i make my next moves, so i dont do anything that would be a pain to remove and redo.
More to come later.
Enjoy.
you might want to bevel the edge on the other side of the outlet and clean up the sides, just to get a little bit of a cleaner flow, but if you're not shooting for speed records, it doesn't matter.
Very coool project so far

Just AMAZING!!!! GREAT job. Keep it up!!!!
A quick water test with all the batteries and motors installed. Sits really nice in the water. Not too deep in the bad like i was affraid of.
Done a little more work.
Made the side extensions and sanded down the compound curves. Still needs some finishing work but the base is there and looks good.
Made and epoxied in some triangle braces as suggested by someone above.
made some battery holders in the lower deck.
Batteries temp installed.
Approximate ESC location.
Painting outboards Black. I painted the first one with some POR 15 but ended up being too thick and pooled up on the edges with bubbles. Looks ok unless you start to really look at it. May have to buy a new case later on and repaint it.
The other two will be painted with some primer, dupli color and clear coat. The Black looks pretty awesome though. Cant wait to get me some Mercury Verado Decals made for it.
That is coming along nicely, very cool and totally different.
they look good in black

I'm a real sucker for center consoles. Really liking your work!
Inside hull painted with Gelcoat and deck finally epoxied in the hull.
Lower deck reinstalled.
ESC mounts made and strapped down.
Plumbed through the lower deck. Will be concealed under the deck also.
Through deck view with T fitting.
3 way splitter made to connect all 3 ESCs.
Side reliefs cut into the sides to match the Donzi 38 ZF.
Templates glued to the floor to support the vertical walls.
Additional support.
To make the tight compound curves. I took some of the 3/16 balsa im using for the vertical sides
and cut it into 1/8" strips. Lined them all back up and taped them together to make a very flexible
structure to make the tight curves.
Taped on the back.
Curves installed.
The gaps in the curves will be filled in with either wood filler or bondo and sanded smooth.
The beginning of the transom.
Made a door through the glass hull.
Some finish sanding and rounding of all corners will be done later on.
Next is finishing the Gunnels, and then back to the console and then
going to try brazzing up the T-Top supports with a solid top.
More to come soon.
two servos controlling three outboards? is the center one just liked to the outer two which are attached to servos?
I like the clean look of the tubes going through the hull
I plan on connecting both servos to the center motor. One off of each end of the motor arm.
Then i will make some tie-bars to connect the outter motors to the center motor.
Im going to remake the servo tray out of something stronger than the balsa i have it made out of now.
It was just for mochup.
Hope it works.
This is a very nice build..........................great work, love the scalers!!!

The rear transom is looking really great.
Looking awesome, keep us posted
I wish i had more to post but shortly after i made my last post, i lost interest in the project. Started working on a couple planes and my full size boats.
Its still sitting right above my TV so i look at it everyday. Hope to get back on it soon.
We have had a very mild winter down here so ive been out and about a lot, fishing and flying rc planes.
Ill finish it, i promise.

When you get your interest back ask a couple of the more experienced builders here about running Brushless motors at half speed. You have done an outstanding job on this and I would hate to see your electrics go poof and burn this pretty baby down!
Seems to me that i remember reading that at half throttle there is a tremendous about heat build up but not sure!
We did it with a Bang!
