Default Anybody in NY Metro area?

    Hi,

Is there anyone out there running fast electrics in the NY Metro area? My friend and I are in Yonkers, and run in New Rochelle. We would love to get together with other boaters, (your lake or ours) for fun runs and to share experiences. It is a little late for this season, but maybe we can get something going for next year. Would love to hear from anyone in the area.

Sayreville sounds doable. About an hour from where I live. I guess your pretty much done until the spring, but we would come out there for sure. DO you run any particular days, or when the mood strikes. We're both retired, so any day of the week is good for us. Lets keep in touch, and get togeher in the spring.

Looks like we have some boaters in the area. Unfortunately the season is over here in the North East. I'll post again in the spring, and we can see what we can come up with. Thanks for all the replies.

Hi, I'm sorry but I passed right past this post many times, and never saw it. I must be getting old. Anyway those are our original FE's built by Fine Design. They have 9XL motors, and we just upgraded to Hydra 120's. Usually run in the low 40's on 4S LiPo. We'll play around with 6S in the spring, but we have so much fun running together with these. We also built a Mean Machine with an 11 XL Hacker, and a Hydra 240. Insane with 6S LiPo. The pride of our fleet is a Team Believer with a Lehner 2280 and a Schultz 40-160. This one does mid 50's on 10S and handles like a dream. So that's our armada plus a brushed chase boat. I hope we can get together in the spring.
