    Yup bored again...this has to the stubidest idea I have ever heard of...3D television!!!....come on over lads and watch the game....only one problem you have to purchase a set of wanky spectacles....$200...you already wear spectacles, well all you will see is a red and green silhouette.

    I dont get it either. So, for normal viewing of 2d television, it is the same as a 1080p tv. Now, for 3d programming, you have to wear glasses. What's the difference. Right now, with ANY T.V., you can watch 3d movies with the dorky ass glasses, and get the 3d experience. What's the diff?

    Perhaps a more realistic 3d? I havent checked one out, but watching a 3d movie at say an IMAX theater is much more impressive than an old home set with the [douggie]twitty[/douggie] glasses.

    From what I hear the $200 glasses decode the refresh rate of the TV and flicker the lenses to bend your mind into perceiving the image as 3D
