I mean it was faster for Richard to get it within the USA...

    I'm in Canada...

Fixed my canopy, I didn't bother with warranty, didn't buy it for a warranty.

Keep the boat right side up and you shouldn't have any canopy issues!!!!

Are you going to bring it along Sunday?

Of course, it's fixed, greased & ready to go...

I'll bring this, LSO mono and, P-sport. I think I just need more rudder throw, it was setup for LSH & less weight before.

    Smurfette will be there too

No Brownies for You! (Brownie nazi)\

I might make a pot o' Chilli instead, to keep warm!

I'll post picks of my repair later. Carbon Kevlar, looks cool in the windshield.

I got to see a MG run in person for the first time today and discussed w/ the owner the concerns of the hatch. I was going to try and order a hatch, as I do not have the boat, but, Can someone send me a broken hatch? I can lay up a mold and produce FG canopies. I can get the color matched in gelcoat as well so they wont have to be painted. I can send whoever want to donate thier hatch a new part for the cost of shipping. However, Id like to see the hatch being easily repaired. I dont want to have to get out the heat gun and melt plastic to piece it back together.

Anyway, just a thought if anyone want to try. Otherwise, I may just order a hatch and make it happen.

TIqueman, will you be able to make a fg hatch that allows one to keep using the plastic under tray? That would be nice.

I dont think it will be an issue. I didnt look super close at how it all snaps together, but really, If your taping the fg hatch down, I dont see a need for the tupperware lid.

I wouldn't say it's needed, but it would be cool if it could still be used.

I think it will still work anyway. Hopefully I can get w/ Ron again before he leaves town and look at it more closely.

    Fianally some pictures...

I would send mine to you but, it would take a good 10 days for you to get it. I figured it would be quicker if you got it locally.

I used 1 layer of the 6oz Carbon/kevlar cloth under 1/32" thick ply and it still allows me to use the tupperware cover... just got that too...

I took the Kayak out today. I found the hatch for the mini rio, but no boat yet. Water is getting clear though. when I lost it you couldnt see a foot down. Now visibility is about 4 feet. I was going to dive it today but dont wanna fly solo in a gator pit and none of my friensds who are dumb enough to go w/ me were available to play wingman.

Gunna stay singular. I may use it as my race boat. Inexpensive club fun. I saw what the hulls are going to go for empty and thought if I was going to pay that much for an empty hull, I might as well get the whole shibang. My LHS gives me great discounts and after talking to him about getting a hatch, I couldnt pass it up. And after seeing one in person... its hard not to want one. THANKS RON!!!!

Good idea , laying cloth in the bubble section Ray , i guess that whats i will be doing when i get my third hatch What really sucks is the hatch is so cheap to buy , but 47 bucks to ship a 15 dollar part to OZ !!!!!! cause of its size , oh well
