Maybe direct? Which TCS do you prefer? And why? Is the self-priming version necessary? Thanks

I prefer the M200 pumps. I have the M400 and M410, but they don't seem to work as well as the smaller pumps.
They do have a geared version, but it is quite expensive. I like the M series as you can push water through them using the normal pickup and if the flow drops due to boat speed reducing the pump starts to push the extra water through.
I have bought the pumps directly from the UK in the past, but they now have a US distributor. https://www.servoflo.com/micropumps/...m200-micropump

Thanks man. Have you tested the self priming ones?

Yes, I have one of the MG2000 pumps from TCS. It works great, but cannot flow through like the smaller impeller pumps. I had to build a bypass system with a one way valve to allow flow around the pump when not on and when the pump is on, the one way valve prevents recirculation. It would be better suited for the large cat's and mono's where room and weight are not an issue.

Ok thanks. The m200 are very low voltage right? Extra power feed? Or do you power it from your receiver?

Yes, 1.5V and 3V. I use the 3V versions and a DC step down regulator from Pololu.

I just run the regulator off the BEC power.
