But... just so you know... Cheapbatterypacks.com has adapters to adapt the PolyQuest/PolyRC taps to the Thunderpower, and vice-versa... I know, I know... it's a pain, but it's the way things are right now...

Lots of people are charging their packs with the balancer ports. Its a real pain with all the taps out there!! I fully agree.

Not sure why you would charge through the balancer ports.....but you can, I never do.

As far as I can tell from reading its the safest way to charge lipo cells.

I guess if your not sure of what condition your pack is in, your correct. I also wish that every tap was the same, however, I know why they went the way they did. Just look at the radios out there, they are different as well.
