Hey SJ --- these motors are supposedly 1 of europe's leading manufacturers and they invest heavily in research for F3A & F5B class motors(R/C airplanes!)

I like the look also. They are a little high in price. I am wondering about the application in reference to each size & kv motor.

Found it thanks. It would seem the biggest motor that have is the 1600 witch looks to = a 10XL in kv. But should it not be delivering WAY more torque?

Very famous in France, they are made in France I think (?) http://www.electronicmodel.com/ or http://www.cyclonbrushless.com/cyclon-intro.html for direct acces to boat motors
When I started in FE boat, I was told they are the really best!
The water cooling is only on the front bearing

    Yes they are French...
I have not heard one perso that actually used it... I brought it up last year to a few senior racers and they were a little interested but needed to see water time...
They look nice BUT, so do a bunch of other motors that are useless for race setups.

Well it's a good thing 90% of us don't race . We wouldn’t have many options for equipment.

When I started with FE boat, I went to one of the largest RC shop in Paris, and the salesguy in charge of boat, presented me these motor when I was asking for basic info on brushless setup, they appear to be really good, certainly as Neu or Lehner, much less choice because they only have 5 model for boat according to french race categories.
