If you liked that slow nitro boat take a look at what a really fast boat can do:

Jay is anyone running electric oval record attempts?

A few FE guys have done so Steve, particularly at the IMPBA Huntsville and Valdosta events. At those sites the oval and SAW course share the same lights so it is easy to switch. At Huntsville I saw a guy run the oval course for a timeslip, then he did back-to-back passes through the SAW course for a timeslip - all without coming back to shore.
There won't be an oval course set up in LA as far as I know.
.
Jay is correct, Huntsville can change instantly. I have been there several times when Ed Hughey use to run. It can be windy there however.
I forgot to add, good luck this weekend Jay!!
