I would contact the seller to see if they might pay shipping as well. Send them a pic of the damage. Many sellers will work with a customer.
If they won't work with you, then simple epoxy should fix this.

It is a fibreglass hull with a paint finish, was the box damaged when you received it. The dude you purchased it from is MIA. Use a two part epoxy 30 minutes or longer to fix it

Come on D.Jordan send him a hull..................................This is were we all say BUY FROM OSE, sorry about that. Two ways to fix, easy way see if you can part it 1-2mm and use epoxy as stated above. If you use micro balloons it will even be white! Or use fiberglass resin and hardener the same way. Epoxy is easier and widely available just use a good one.

Epoxy or autobody filler works well, just make sure you sand the area of the chip a little more to get some good adheasion.

Did you run it? or did you buy it used? I see rust in that second pic.

    its new, shipped by EMS

i havent run nor fixed it yet. i have grabbed 2 brands of epoxy to try it out but i found its quite difficult to open some gap for filling without making it worse..!

for the rust, yes, but how come? its should be lot easier to fix than the crack with WD40 tho

side note: i didnt get any single reponse from horizon so far
