Yep there is. It's on the other side of the pond.

Can't say. It's one of those unpredictable moments as there aren't many that enjoy the hobby. But Saturdays sometimes look good.

I try to go on Sundays after about 2pm or so when all the gas boats are gone or leaving. I hate those things! Saturday is supposed to be for sailboats and Sundays for Power boats but if you go after about 2pm the lakes usually fairly free either day. PM me sometime maybe we can meet up if you'd like.

Anyone ever run in the lagoons on the coast in North County?

To be honest I have no reason to run anywhere in San Diego except the model yacht pond. It was built just for us and nothing else! Sure it's salt water, big deal takes me 2 minutes to clean boats after a run. On top of that my boats are a little bit faster there. Keep your boat dry inside and there's nothing to worry about. I've ran there for years.

I'll be going out to the model yacht pond this coming wednesday the 29th to run my Motley Crew more likely than not, if anyone would like to meet up there. Might bring a couple other boats too. What boats do you guys have?

I thought about going there today 'til I saw the parking lot we call a freeway. I guess I'll have to wait till my next free day...

Most of the sail guys are probably there today anyways. I only get one Sunday off per month so that's the only weekend I can go down there.

I know the feeling. I'm working on another project for the last couple of months that's just taking up too much of my free time. After that, I have a couple of boat projects I need to finish.

I have EKOS (Electric king of shaves) by VENOM. a few upgrades there and there, but trying to mod the interior with CF. and relocating motor/esc/battery places. But it would be nice to get a little help with understanding the weight distrubtion on these CAT hulls.. For now I will leave things in stock til then.

I run in SD also. I have a couple of cool private freshwater spots to run also.
