The parts not being in stock blues

I bought a shockwave bl 3 weeks ago, I really like the boat until it was time to start to get parts, I lost both the hatch and radio box cover. When I found out they where on back order until nov/dec I got pretty mad, well my lhs was able to get horizon to ship a radio cover to them which was cool, I'm trying to get a hatch yet. Well I was getting sick of lokking at this boat on my self, not being able to drive it. I looked around my hobby room and after 2o min I was able to create a hatch so I can at least go drive it. Sorry for the poor paint job.

I'd order a used damaged boat from Hobb-e-mart bank some spare parts. Have a extra hull or take what you need and sell the rest. JMHO

I've looked into that, they are keep an eye open at horizon for me if a damaged or returned boat comes in.

looks good.I dont even want to run my boat becuse of the hatch.I am very particular on how my boat looks.Did you go lipo?Well when my boat crased i had a 2s and was chassing after a 1:1 boat i jump a wave then boom crash.I thought it was fine untill it went titanic on me.THe bow was stiking stright up.In that split second i take my shirt off and jump in.alt water did nothong.Every thing on the boat is fine.I am now going have to wait till december to run this boat.So what is your story?

Lost the brown part first time out, hit a wave hatch came up, brown part blew off, hatch landed back down. Drove a few more weeks and put black tape on to hold hatch down, ran it one more time with out tape, flew off. Lost another hatch on a proboat earlier this year. Every thing has foam to float now.

lol well same thing happened to me first crash i lost the brown part.then i lost the cockpit.Would you be interested in buying a shockwave off ebay and spliting it up with me?

my hull also cracked pretty well right were the prop shaft comes out, they would replace if I sent but I decided to fix it myself

The part I only need is the hatch, horizon sent me a brown part, and i got a new esc out of them, unless you want to split a hatch I had one ordered too, I am hoping they show up soon but my boat runs pretty well now. I am just sick of looking.

I was joking spliting a hatch down the middle, each get a side. I don't have much warm weather left, most boats I've seen on ebay go for well over $100.

I called horizon today.After being on hold for an hour i got some one on the phone.I told them my hatch fell off during running.He said that they are backodred till december.So he felt that was too long and then he went to go check after a minute he comes back and says he has one.YES!!!!!!!!.Not only do they have one they are shipping it to me for free!!!!!!.

That sucks balls I called them like three times and theysaid they would keep a look out for me and I never even got a call back.

I hope tomarrow, they ship ups ground so it might be a few days, its normally 2 for me they are only a state over. I wish there was a way to track.
