Default Swordfish 120 on board BEC?

    To Steve or anyone
Is there anything wrong with the onboard Swordfish BEC? its rated at 3.5 amps, which should be good for rx and servo. I have a CC BEC, but i was wondering if i should install it or not? I know most use a separate rx pack, but esc for cars and helis (small) that handle alot of servos under alot of load and usually no problems. Or is it the BECs arent very good on boats?

You should be able to use the bec on the swordfish 120 with no issues.

Well, it seems to power it fine on the table. I even programed the esc using usb link and my laptop and still works. Hope to find out if it runs good this weekend for a test run. Looking good so far for purchasing a Swordfish....

You should be good. I use a HS-7590TH servo and a small fan off of my bec. I have also used it with 6s with this setup no problems.
