SV Strut

I got an SV strut pulled from a boat, then bought another strut aftermarket. There is a difference. A major difference. See image below. (Click for larger image) Is there anyone with an extra SV strut that looks like the top one, they are willing to sell me please?

*Top = pulled from boat
*Bottom = Aftermarket.

hit it with a dremel mate... 10 mins..

I have some small round files that I would use
sometimes a dremel is a little to easy to end up with a really big hole
just file a little at a time

The strut for my SV which i bought in August looks like the bottom one. It is a real pain to adjust. Should i call Aquacraft?
