    Default Hatch tape brand

    Can I use clear 3M duct tape, or do I need something different? Im trying to pick up some at home depot vs ordering.

    My guess is that it'll leave residue on the boat if left on too long. (not sure how long is too long though)

    Buy some hockey tape from a sports store. it works great and no residue

    I buy the stuff here @ OSE. Don't know what it is but it's the best tape I have used to date.

    I like to use the hockey tape but also use electrical tape as well.

    Just use electrical tape. I use electrical tape and it does not pull paint or leave anything behind. Plus it can be re used inbetween battery changes. .89 cents a roll and they come in clear, white, yellow, black, blue, red. I am not trying to steer sales away from OSE but when ya need something quick there it is.

    I received my rolls of tape from OSE; great stuff! Tears easy and waterproof. I also ordered corrosion x. Now Im all set! Thanks 4 the recommendations guys

    Cool good to here because i just ordered a roll on my last order for the drive fix of my probaot apache 24!

    Nope, its a southern thing too; the OSE tape is hockey tape. Renfrew hockey tape to be exact
