    Hi guys , could anyone tell me how many watts the 1717 neu / castle motor is rated at ?

    thanks, but i wanted to know the WATTS rating which is the power out put , i know they are a 120 AMP , i have data logged my 1515 castle/neu @2600 WATTS.

    Multiply your voltage times the amps for wattage..................

    Theres now REAL way to figure the amps, till you run it. Any motor can pull WAY more than it is rated for.

    Cheers thats what i thought , seeing the prop size will alter the amps you draw. but the Neu motor chart gives you continous & surge WATTS ,so at least you know the Horsepower the motor can make, But make a wakes ,suggestion will give me a round about figure . as you see from my graph im pulling 204 amps with the 1515 with a M445. thanks guys
