I am confident that you have not run many FE hulls and it is clear that you have not watched many good clips of very fast FE hulls.

That last on is deffo a hoot to watch.

The original clip is a very well setup hull with a very good driver.
The last clip was an insane setup with a good driver

I didn't expect that! I thought my eco was fast but that guy has a few screws loose.

That man will WIN the eco class with that monster he's created

I not too long ago ran my Joker on 2s with a high KV motor.
It grabbed about 50mph! Weight distribution seems to be key along with the obvious prop selection.

Those things hit corners like the movie TRON!

My hat goes off to that guy though.. His is insane!

Yeah, who was that masked man??
Definitely my hero now when it comes to Ecos.

    Undoubtedly "The Man"

He must have every component velcro'ed down with straps to handle those cornering forces..

The ECO's are a riot but nobody in the states runs them. A real shame. The triangular course is easy to set up on a small pond. Our little Mini ECO is a fantastic little boat but nobody buys
    'em. Oh well!

I bought one and love it! It is a shame there's not more interest, especially with something that self-rights out of the box.

He actually was extremely controlled Randy. Ecos are supposed to run like that or seemingly hook.

They have an amazing ability to virtually switch directions as if on rails.

Here's how they race them nowadays http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgShkE-TojA

It looks like a duck, Quacks like a duck, Walks like a duck. It is a DUCK!

Please tell me who she is!! We're a match made in heaven I will propose to her, marry her, and make her an american citizen. I'm in love with her.

    Cool

The ECO's are a riot but nobody in the states runs them.
They are an official NAMBA class, and for a couple of years a few clubs did run them. We ran them two years indoors in Alaska, they were popular for the olympic pool. We speced them as a one-desiggn class: a single hull allowed, a single motor and a single prop. The ECO racing was a lot of fun and pretty close if the boat didn't hook, but most members wanted faster boats when we raced outdoors in the Summer on the NAMBA 1/10th mile course. The ECO class died from lack of excitement on the oval. They are pretty lame on a big race course...
