Help whit aquacraft set up

I have a aquacraft sv 27 motor whit 60a esc, l try a pro boat resiver and transmitter that l have extra from another project and l cant make it work right it only works if l push the trigger forward, tried the buttons on top of the transmitter and make run backwards l have pull the trigger to make it stop do you know what l doing wrong??

The sv doesnt have reverse

l know lt will go forward if l push the trigger but l cant set it up so when l pull the trigger go forward, tried to change the two buttons in top of the transmitter but it only make it worse it will go by it self anr if l pull or push the trigger it will stop.
Any suggestions??
The transmitter and receiver are from a blackjack

Maybe that radio isnt compatible with the sv27 esc and motor ??

Try the thottle trim adjustment or try the throttle reverse switch on the transmitter ..does the tranmitter have to be calibrated with the ESC ???
