Videos are made for marketing purposes, to highlight the boats looks and features. I don't know how one would expect to judge top speed from one.
The Miss Geico does not have the 1800KV motor... it's the "1500KV" (in reality, it's 1625 or so) from the BJ26.
Hull is cleaner, has way better geometry, and has a wider tunnel/stance than the BJ26 does, and it's also a bit longer. It's going to be capable of better performance... that was the idea.
Out of the box, I'd expect at least upper 30's... With a prop change... I have no doubt I could get this boat into the upper 40's in oval race trim, and much faster for straight line passes... I know... because I've done it when testing this boat. Heck, my BJ26 powered OPC Tunnel has registered consistent laps showing 50-53mph with a decent prop that would almost allow it to corner well too.
I've said it before, I'll believe 50 on the Traxxas when I see it...
I would expect that most of these RTR packages that we are seeing today based on this motor type/size and 4S Lipos are capable or right around 40mph out of the box...
