    Default rx pack

    i plan on removing the red wire on my sv27 and using a rx pack my ? is should i go with a life battery or a nimh

    Rx pack size and chemistry is a personal preference thing.
    I use Nimh in my non-bec hulls.
    I have a small 5xAAA 900mAh nimh pack for the small hulls and a 5xAA 1700mAh pack for the big cat and big rigger.

    Have surf around the SV27 section and see what is a popular size to use.

    I use lipos and a small ubec.

    Cheap and light.

    For My smaller boats, I use a 2s 800mah Zippy lipo
    For Larger I got 2s 1250mah.

    Look into these i use the one for the TX and they work great. I have seen the RX ones being used by them self no bec or voltage reg. and they seem to work fine.

    i was going to try and use it with that rx untill i killed it by pluging a 6v hump pack into it backwords, btw 1st time iv done someting like that in 10yrs
