Cool New Shockwave 26 Brushless videos

I through a link to this video in a thread in the proboat section, but this is the dedicated section and I plan to take more videos and will then update this thread as I go etc..

So here she is as of right now.

All stock except for upgraded x435 S & B prop

Running on a single 7.2v 4200 NiMh battery pack

Current set up is netting 24mph and cool battery, motor and esc

With my previous Y535 prop I was getting 26mph but the batteries were getting very hot and the motor wasn't getting as high of RPM's as it was stock or now...so the 435 is better for it now.

Not too horrible of a speed for a single 6 cell NiMH

Not bad at all, put a 2S Lipo in there and you will be pushing 30Mph.

I have lipos on the way...but negative on the other prop.

Another member was running the y535 with lipo and first run he smoked the ESC...was too much prop for the boat apparently.

The 435 with lipo on the other hand has had no problems according to another member so I will stick with this prop most likely...we will see though

    Thanks.

Ya I actually just got the Lipos today...they came fully charged/balanced so I just ran them for a few minutes each, down to 3.8v per cell to store them for a few weeks since I won't have my new charger for a few weeks (b-day gift) so I will be patient and wait.

It's gonna be hard to run NiMH's again now though lol

Glad I didnt invest in any more NiMH's...people werent lieing when they said once you go lipos you never go back
