1/10th has the potential of being extremely popular, its the lack of kits thats slowing it down, IMOHO... Fine for those that can scratch build, but not for the rest of us...

    Mike,
I noticed that HR# 8806 is in finished framing sets. When you convert it to 1/10th let me know. Seriously. I can make it into a Frosted Flakes.

Ronbo, I will keep the 8806 in mind for 1/10th scale. I just have to get other stuff done first!

Jimbo-Jones, I have the 94 Bud plans and hope to get them drawn up soon. Just be on the lookout! Mike

Cybercrtxt I have just gotten back into the rc hydro game and I'm interested in buying one of your kits, not sure which yet. It looks like 1/8th and 1/10th scales are the most popular. Question: I partially built an old Dumas #1314 Atlas Van Lines kit 36" long and sold it on ebay about 2 yrs ago. It works out to be 1/9th scale, what catagory of scale does this fit into?
My suggestion for a kit would be the U-50 Spirit of the Navy 2008 (Rodger Newton ID 171-H), U-31 Miss Circus Circus 1979 (126-A).

Hey, The 1/8th scale hulls are about 43", 1/10th scales are about 35". I have the Spirit of Navy plans on the way, but do not have the 79 Circus plans yet. I will now reply to your PM. Sorry I did not see your post sooner! Mike
