    Default Etti 150 speed control

    Does anyone have an overall measurment of an Etti 150 opto speed control with the added capacitor bank installed? I'm looking for the lenght and hight with capacitors installed. Thanks!

    First, you don't have to piggy back the cap bank to the main esc. I soldered a pair of wire parallel to the batt wires about 3 inch long and place it aside the esc, otherwise it will be too thick for my setup.

    The dimension of the esc is:
    Length with the water cooler tubes = 3.82" (without = 3.36")
    Width = 1.97"
    Thickness (board + water cooling plate + cap) = 0.65"

    The dimension of the cap bank:
    Length = 2.02"
    Width = 1.25"
    Thickness (board + wires + cap) = 0.65" same as the esc because the cooling plate thickness is the same as the wires.

    I didn't think about mounting the cap bank off to the side. I have limeted space and that will work great. Thanks for the idea and measurements.

    I even added a second cooling plate to the other side of the esc, works great.
