Same thing I thought, I guess it's a disposable boat. The large version is suppose to have a tub like hull, like the UL-1.

I really like the wildcat but like you guys, I dont think there is enough room to do any type of work (MODIFICATIONS).

It has the same watertight type covers as the mini rio. shouldn't be too big a deal.

they do, this boat is just so low powered that it wont matter to not have the counter rotation

I had a Mini LST2 that I changed out the esc and used a decent 10th scale esc and ran the truck on 3s with the stock motors and that little truck moved very well.
IMO just as fast as some have gone using brushless on 2s but much cheaper
so maybe the same mod on this could wake it up!

Anyone notice how the hatch magnet is on the front? I don't think that was a positive change in design. Not a big deal with the stock power plant (guess @ 8mph) but mod her for brushless counter rotating, and you may loose the top easily.
    just a thought...

its gonna have to be cut out and taped to modify these things at all. the must have been assembled before the hull was joined.

I don't see a magnet, looks more like two pins and a latch

Could you swap wires on one motor to get it to counter rotate using the stock speed controller ??? Or would the stock controller burn up ??? Or not spin one motor backwards ???
What size prop are they running ???
Can you add a bit bigger battery ??? If all this is possible then the mini cat would shred !!!
Are there plans on building a bigger version ???

    Default One motor stopped working

Has anyone experienced one motor stopped working?

We had three brand new ones ALL have this issue on the weekend 2x L/H & 1 x R/H with one of them being the local Hobby shop guys.

He suspects a bad batch & is going to send all of them back.

    Cheers
