I would love to see people sign off with their first name and not some silly A111///mpo ....I guess I am old school and an old f..rt

But, I like to know who you are...rather than shield yourself. I have never met a person called olpaa/pee/pee. Unless you are unfortunate enough to be born to a "celebrity". My rant

I always list my name in my profiles. In rooms, forums, and in ebay I perfer a nic or handle..guess it comes from my CB days. In this forum If we all used our names I'd be more confused than I already am on a daily basis. I Know 3 Mikes, 2 Dougs & 3 Steves. Id have to ask the shrink to up the meds.....lol

Well Doug, after 23 years in the Marine Corps and 20 of them in Explosive Ordance Disposal(hence Eodman) I'll stick with Eodman -- but for your Mom's peace of mind my first name is George!

Yeah I think my folks were NOT going for originallity so usually to keep things simple, most friends and co-workers call me by my last name. Good thread Scotsman!
