Three emails back and forth and I could not pry dimensions out of them.
You will find my post on here last week begging someone for them.
If those work, $375 and you will have super scale drives and rudder.

Ooops. They looked like they would fit the transom space. Not much space!
Isn't 3mm the same size drive at the KOS uses in it's twin setup? (I guess that is too small! )

If I don' t find long stingers I' ll build something like this. Motor ==> flex collet ==> flex shaft ==> flex collet ==> shaft with sterntube

That will work fine....even a little neg angle will not hurt it a bit.

Way too short, there is not enough height clearance for the props. Need to get them past the transom, about 3 3/4 in. total.

How about using a two bolt strut with wire drives? They are smaller struts, but the wire drives will strengthen the cable setup for more power in less tube space. Jeff makes the wire drives for the 4mm prop shaft. I have a pair in the EKOS.

    Just a thought.

Those are 1.25" long. That would be an awful lot of unsupported shaft to get out to the transom. And as Justin said, you have to get out that far so the props clear the overhang.

I was actually thinking transom mounted, not sponson transom mounted. Run the tube out of the sponson transom and to the transom mounted strut hanger. Since there is enough space on the transom for these smaller strut mounts.

Again, just a thought, but don't see why it wouldn't work.

If you do struts they will adjust easily. Ever thought of a two piece stuffing tube lined with teflon? You leave about about 1/2" of liner exposed closer to the transom and then easy to adjust... Since wires do not beat around so hard it works very smoothly.

What is negative angle? Propeller higher or lower?

I' ve found the stingers for a twin setup, they are avalaible at RC Raceboats Shop in Germany.
CNC made, running with ball bearings, parts anodized, with right or left hand motion that 3,2mm Flexshaft. Supply effected completely installs, with brass wave pipe, ptfe pipe and stuck together Flexshaft (please when ordering absolutely select the direction of rotation). Measures: Overall length inclusive wave: approx. 135mm Flange measures: approx. 15x25mm

What do you think about this twin setup?

    - FSD 540XL / 8 Turns, 2075kV

    - Kintec Racing water jacket because it' s same color than motor ...;-)

    - HIFEI Swordfish 120A or Turnigy 120A esc

    - 2x4S or 2x5S LiPo batteries

under 4S a 8XL is perfect but for such a big hull I would go for 9XL instead, so you can spin slightly bigger prop and evantually go for 5S more safely than with a 8XL!

it's not the best it is just a different view, I would go for 4S and target 30000rpm unloaded, some other guys here on this board would go for 32000rpm and a bit more!
so you have 3 possible setup with the given data's :
8XL/4S you'll spin 42mm prop reasonably 43,5 max as this will be a twin
9XL/4S you'll spin easily 45mm prop IMO the best choice for the best prop efficiency
9XL/5S you'll spin smaller prop than under 4S but I've no idea, it's gonna scream
remember that you will use counter rotating prop (and left and right flex) so choose the setup according to the brand of prop and the size available in that brand

Have you considered some of the bigger outrunners and feeding them with up to 6S.
I am assuming you have not bought any of the power system yet and this may be an option.
I am no master of outrunners as I have yet to get my next two OR powered cats wet. They do seem like a good option and there are a lot to choose from.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood
