    Default Stainless Backplates

Does anyone sell stainless SV27 backplate upgrades? Or does anyone know where I can get the dimensional specs for the backplates. I could take it all apart and measure them, but the parts are pretty small and I'd rather get the specs from someone who knows the precise dimensions

Hi why do you want to change these? you mean the plates that hold all the hardware?
If you took the time to seal all the wood and realine the stuffing tube with Z-Poxy you don't need ss

I'm going to be using my boat in salt water this summer and want to protect it any way I can. What exactly do you do with the epoxy and stuffing tube, just put a layer of epoxy around the tube where it enters the boat?

    Smile Epoxy seal

Because these boats are mass produced you should check your stuffing tube alignment and they also leak around there too once you know everything is lined up well re epoxy in place and add some extra for strength also coat the transom with epoxy too
