Default Couple questions regarding SuperVee Brushless Motor/ESC

    Hi,

Can a SuperVee Brushless motor be run in both directions? For counter-rotating purposes?

What is the arrangement for the wiring from the ESC to the Motor? I purchased a motor and esc, but the leads were clipped off.

    Thanks!!

Yes it can. Just hook the ESC to the motor and then check direction of how it runs and then if you want to change it just swap any two wires and it will run opposite direction.

Cool, is there any special way to connect the three wires from the motor to the esc?

No, it does not matter. If the motor is running the wrong direction, just swap 2 of the 3 wires,

Why are their 3 wires? I would expect just two for a DC motor.

Seems like Brushless is similar to an AC motor.
