    Question Castle Hydra 120 vs ETTI 150

    I want to buy a good ESC but I don' t know which one is the best

    I wouldn't run either on 6s. Too risky. Get a hv esc to run 6s or more.

    I had great luck with the ETTI on 6s. Always had cap boards on them and they were run on some pretty smokin' boats. I am yet to run a Hydra 120 or 240 on 6s. You will get many mixed emotions on this topic.

    makes me wonder why people say you cant run 6s on these esc,s that cost decent $$$
    yet the mystery/himodel esc,s will run 6s and there 1/3 of the price or less

    Have run both on 6s with no problems. The Etti would be my choice for larger boats. My hydra was run on low amp motors(below 80 amps). My Etti 150s has been a work horse for me in some very fast large sports hydros and riggers. These boats have either had 1527s or 1521s in them. Always had cap boards on them.
