    Default Neu motors

I am looking to buy 2 or 3 Neu motors in the next couple of days and was looking for a few suggestions here.......

    Hulls will be

    Jolly Cat

    Syncron

    Triton

    I currently have a 1515/ 1.5D and a 1515/ 1/Y
I will run the boats on 4s1p, 2s1p and probably some 6s1p

    thanks in advance

    Cool

The designations refer to the size of the can, and indirectly refers to the safe power capability in watts:

    15xx is the diameter = 1.5"

    1515 is 2.7" long - 1500 watts continuous
    1521 is 3.3" long - 2000 watts continuous
1527 is about 3.7" long - about 2500 watts continuous

The size/weight of the motor determines how much power it can make without damage. All of the above motors can make more for short periods of time. For example, the 1521 can make 3600 watts for less than 30 seconds.
