If you can find some GP3300 packs, they may do the ticket. Or maybe the GP3900cells are good. I'd stay away from all IB cells and packs. Also stay away from GP3700 and GP4300 cells and packs.

Thanks for the mention, do we really know how long these low cost liPoly packs will last? People are trying them out, we will see. Logic says they need to be ran in parallel but people are trying them in series only. With LVC and temp reported by Joey, they should last in the Super V. in series.

I am in the process of rounding up some cash for a few sets of them now Steve. I will be putting that system to work for you in the next couple weeks. I'm going to be collecting data in the SV first. The BlackJack setup is a little agressive for them I think...I'll try them in it after I have got what I want out of the first round of testing.

Darn, I forgot to send that system, I'll get that in the mail today. We thought we were going to Florida and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off to get orders out. I'll lay the system out this morning.

Saw some 3900's on ebay. Out of country of course and want 12.99 shipping for each pack. I will have to do some hunting as well as an economical charger. Whats with the Tenergy cells?

Example....My Tenergy 3500s...I have 4 of them..the best one holds 2700mah..the others are all 1400 to 1600 and wont wake up...I never realy beat them up in the car either...like 4 cycles on them. Glad they where only 4 for 50 bucks.

I hate Tower Hobbies but they have GP3900 packs. Get one of these and rebuild it into a soldered pack.

Wow that is pathetic. With prices on batteries you would expect some good quality stuff. Instead you wind up with low grade junk and knock off's. It's hard to choose from because there are so many batteries out there. Seems it's like playin russian roulette.

I have some Tenergy's The only ones I feel are good enough to run in the boat are the NEW 4500's problem is you can only get them in 7 cell packs then you HAVE to tear them apart and rebuild them. There not so cheap at 34 bucks maybe 33 if you buy a set then consider Bones, wire and a connector, and shrink wrap. it not worth it. They DO run the boat OK and temps on the packs are tolarable at 130ish. DO NOT get there 3800 they are not very good at all.

I have 2 loose 4500 cells. If steve agrees I will send them to him and he can test them up and see if he thinks there OK.

All Battery is actually the Tenergy company. I saw all the deals on ebay and jumped on some packs but trust me there no good in the boat. Maybe ok for less demanding stuff. The only Tenergy cells that are ok are the 4500's and you can only get them from there websight, not ebay.

I will send the cells to steve tomarrow.
