Nice touch with the black outline on the green letters! Very nice. Any progress on the Smokin Joe? Thanks!

I have been painting mostly. Did you see this picture? I just cut off the sponson to be able to machine the front of the hatch opening. I will reglue the sponson after I am happy with the hatch.

I will fill with resin to make a hard machinable shelf.

I am really like this paint job. I never use green, I guess that is why.

TTH I have just finished your Stainless strut. What motor are you going to use? I need to know to build the motor mounts. I would run a 1527 1D on 4S2P. It would be good or oval on that setup and great for SAW with 6S.
I also glued your sponsons yesterday and set the booms

Cold feet in Cali?? Really? It's funny, I was just talking to a co-worker of mine. He built a new pole barn and is using radiant heat in the floor. A water heater heats the water and it is pumped through tubing in the concrete. Makes it pretty cozy! Especially on your feet!

You are correct not under 66 not over 74 is just perfect for me the older I get the narrow it gets. . And I do want that heater in my bathroom at home. In fact it is one of my dreams. But the new 2 car garage is first.

Had a friend drop off a new toy. Not sure what I am going to do except add electrics. It is a Fritz's hull, Damon has first dibs if I do not keep it.

Radiant heat is very normal here in Vermont, my home has it throughout... I have tile floors throughout as well to maximize the heat transfer... Works wonders as being 10 below zero tonight it's nice to have warm feet in the morning...

Willmer I am waiting on the sand paddles to build my truck.

I wear snow boots to keep my feet warm in the winter and save about $60 bucks a month on heating bills.

I got a little more done on TTH's boat,..... motor rails are in and the stuffing tube is next.
Do you want ceramic bearings on your strut?

Ken and Darris bought paddles, and they're going the same route as you. resurecting an old stadium truck although I recommend you go with that HPI..

If you guys all run a stadium truck, I'll build up a rustler to hang..

I bought two sets of paddles. You wanted one and if I feel like you do not get hear fast enough, I just might fire up the HPI 4WD truck.

I hope the paddles will fit on one of my sets of bead locks, so I do not have to buy anything else.

If it won't ruin my credibility of asking you to order me a pair throw em on!
I've got a few sets now and if you got the pro-line staggered pattern ones they seem to work the best and more your style of handling.

Dude, with a 3.5 Novak system that sucker will be interesting in the flats..

I do not know what motor I will use, I am not pulling any of my SAW boats apart. I could use a old schultz car ESC and a 5XL hacker. I would not have reverse possably

Tony use the junk you have or trade for something. I am just buying tires and sticking them on something I have. but then I do not sell much of my old junkand keep building new stuff. Scratch is ware it is at for me. It is just a little slower to get done.
That XTM Sand rail does sound cool!

Will did you go to RC4WD?

There he is! Tony, you're the main guy I'm tryin to impress with all this.
I turned you on to helis and wasn't steerin ya' wrong, we both had a great race season even after diving head first into 'em. I'm not leadin' you astray with this one either.

We both swore to get XTM's but for now you can use any stadium truck or 2wd buggy and throw sand paddles out back. a 20 dollar upgrade.

Wind storm blew in last night still blowin today and has manicured all the dunes to look like the sahara or Glamis. Suicide hill looks Perfect! I was just now blasting 5-foot airs over the plateau.
