Glad I could help you out Ryan. Man go for 6s and really see what the 1527 can do for you!!!

I plan on it in the future. I may have to upgrade the esc though. I've heard too much bad about the lv240 on 6s. I may try a Swordfish hv when steven gets them. This thing should see mid 60's on 6s I bet. I love how this hull eats up the chop.
Iceberg,,,right ahead!!!!!!!!
Nice!

Great video!

Thats really cool....... but i really appreicate living in hawaii even when its cold i still have shorts and a tshirt......... everytime i see a vid of you guys running when its cold i wish you guys could come here and run........... At least you are having fun and thats what its all about anyway..........Aloha from Hawaii............
AHHH! I've been to Mauii. I never wanted to go home. Not sure why I did... I could snorkel and surf endlessly. I've gotta settle for crappy east coast snowboarding. At least I've got tons of lakes when it is nice out..
Ryan thats a fast boat . I bet the motor temps were pretty low after the run in ice water ..
Man you guys are crazy running in the ice water!!! No emergency rescue missions that's for sure!! In the winter here the water is in the upper 40's and i don't even hesitate to jump in after my boats ( even then it draws a crown) , but there ... Yeah right!!!! I would wait on the 6's unless you have a good recovery system buts that's just coming from a so cal boy GREAT VIDEO !!!!!
Nice job ! Kinda' narrow pond; reminds me when I ran in the marina where I lived. Love to see what she does on open water !

lol, thanks bustit, she lookms a bit different now huh? 58mph flat today. Running new cells tomorrow, still 5s, but higher c rate. I bet I'll hit 60!
Not much better on top speed today. 58.5. I did pick up a LOT of punch out of the hole though. First rip and i flipped it right over on her lid! Wasn't expecting that! I dig the hard acceleration, just gotta be a little more careful now!
Hey rumdog, any chance of getting a video of that rico 31 with the castle motor??
Wow, its going well.
Not much room for driver error in that place!

Well, I went with a x455 today. Woohoo! She's rock solid at 63.6 mph!! this cat rips wot hairpin turns! By far THE best handling cat I've ever seen! Still running 5s2p. Batts were a little warm, but other than that, temps were as usual. I wonder how much speed this hull is capable of.
Sweet, low 60s!
any new videos?

That's very impressive. I am putting a new power setup in my sprintcat soon, motor and esc. are on the way, just need to get some cells. I'm going from a 4s to a 6s setup. I hope to get up to the 60 range also.
Is the x455 the best prop you've tried?
Rico 29, Sprintcat 34, Insane FE 30 Hydro, 43'' Aeromarine Conquest
Yep, so far, the 455. I've only tried the octura's though. I may get a couple prather props. They have more pitch. So far, I've tried a x648, x450, x452 and the x455. I have a x457, but, not sure if it will be too much. Gonna try to talk the wife into filming this weekend. The lake are finally all thawed out, and I can really let her rip!
knpc, you going with a 1527?
