Default Lookin' for a recommendation for RC truck

    Hi,
My son loves his brushless boat, looking for something he can drive on the street when we can't hit the pond. I know zero about brushless rc trucks/cars...

Looking for something that can handle some rough terrain, goes pretty fast on pavement (say 30mph+), and is durable. Would like it to run on Lipos. I have a DX3S on order which will come with an extra receiver, so looking for an ATR without the radio.

Any recommendations? What do folks think about Traxxas Slash?

Slash!!!!! My son and I have 4 of them. They are all converted to brushless. The 4x4 ones come that way already and I picked up some vxl combo's off ebay for our 2wd ones. If you need them to handle rougher terrain you just add some 2.8in MT tires and a MT body and you are good to go.

Thanks for the info! Will probably go the Slash Platinum route.

a mate of mine has a 2wd slash with after market chassis and brush less velineon system very fast and handles well.
he also has the 4wd version same brush-less system,on 3s they are absolutely awesome
you need to see one in action to realise how good they are
