I assume i would still need all the running hardware ?. if true what is a rough estimate of cost for the running hardware ?. I know this one is not as good as a neu . But will it work good on 6s ?.

I have no experience with these motors. Ive heard they are powerful but..? Talk w/ randy (bby racing) on here about his hardware , its around $150.00 from him. He has wire drives , bearinged struts and all sorts of goodies he is who ill be getting my harware from in a few weeks for my 1/8 build. In fact i have a whole set up of hardware coming in the mail right now for another hydro im building that will go up on here real soon!

If all your looking for is 30-35mph, go with the 580 12L on 6s.
that would be plenty for 35mph runs..

That would be plenty . I noticed something . It says 14v after the description 580 12L 1,051 RPM / Volt (14). Is that the max volts or the minimum it can handle ?.

also is this a big enough esc ?. http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...d=cas-hydra120 or would this one be better ?.

some do a fan ontop, as i ran one today but on a milder setup in my sons super -v. but ( no) is a better way of answering your question. its easy to do. take off the heatsink and add a watercooling plate w/ thermal paste store. re shrink and your done.http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=etti-a044
